Why do you hate America so much?

“Why do you hate America so much?”

Lol, this is one of my favorite questions. C’mon now, I don’t hate America it’s just my opinion that its status as “country” died. America as an Economic Zone isn’t the worst place you can live in. In fact, there are clear benefits to living in the USA-EZ.

The USA-EZ has the best food & beverage matrix you can possibly imagine. It is by far the most diverse because America is the most diverse. And if you don’t care for food & beverage diversity, our fast food matrix is 2nd-to-NONE. I too, just like former President Donald Trump, enjoy McDonalds. (I don’t drink soda though, so I never order soda.) I too, just like a zillion health-conscious healthnuts in America even saw the anti-McDonalds movie Super-Size Me. The ability to love, hate, and enjoy the double-think stylings of both love & hate — this is part of the fabric of America.

You can buy almost anything you want in America and have it delivered to your doorstep. And if you’re impatient and want it ASAP, you can pay a little extra to have it possibly delivered within 24 hours.

America also has convenience stores that are open 24-7 where you can buy must-have essentials like alcohol, cigarettes, pornography, and potato chips. Usually, you can get all 4 for less than $20. With conveniences like these, “hating America” is a laughable notion. I’m no whiner.

Some people whine and complain about materialism. “Oh, come on,” I say. All things in moderation. It’s obvious materialism isn’t the be-all-end-all of life. And also, materials are pretty nice to have. Somebody worked hard to make those materials, and to buy them is to contribute to their well-being. Relax!

Probably what you’re referring to is the notion of my patriotism, how I interpret American history and its military activities, and what kind of flag I will fly on the 4th of July. I’ve thought a lot about this. It’s clear there is a difference between the people in a country (or Economic Zone) and the “people” that are their ruling elite. Almost always the pattern is the people within a country/EZ are better than their rulers, and their rules have a propensity for being annoying, frustrating, cringey, wretched, psychopathic, and worse. Sometimes, there is no bottom floor when it comes to rulers. I digress. The flag I recommend for the people of the USA-EZ that want to divorce themselves from their rulers is the US Civil Flag. You can find these online on the cheap. It’s the one with the vertical stripes instead of horizontal, and the blue stars on white instead of white stars on blue.

You’re probably also asking, “Ok, Mr./Dr. Marlowe, what system of government do YOU think the USA should have?” My answer is: “I have no idea.” I’m not Quixotic enough to believe I could have any political impact even if I thought up a new and improved system. (Although I used to be somewhat Quixotic, don’t get me wrong.) I tend to see the globe as kind of a game of dodgeball. There’s all kinds of shit that can come along and interfere with you and whatever government in whatever part of the globe you live in is just one of those things that could come along and fuck with you. I silently applaud those that wish to try and make efforts politically, and I also understand those that wish to opt out and live a life that avoids politics. There’s many different kinds of systems you could be living under. Some are better than others, but all have their pros and cons. The USA-EZ is just one type of system. So kind of a rule of thumb, remember: “The people are alright, but their government is gaytarded.” The best you can hope for in your lifetime is that your government and your ruling class somehow become less gaytarded – perhaps through the grace of God or something.
